Manager, Client Operations is a key role in our large, multi-disciplinary Nike EMEA team, responsible for the orchestration of the day-to-day operational aspects of the account, internally and with clients. The role includes project plan development & tracking, rollout and enforcement of defined processes, workstreams coordination, business reporting and supporting the account leadership team. The Manager, Client Operations will work closely with the Operations Director, clients, internal teams and crafts, and other Initiative offices across the region. This role is key in driving consistency & excellence in our ways of working across both the EMEA hub team and our Territory/market execution teams.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 4+ years of demonstrated excellence in account management or operations, preferably in a media agency or digital communications agency environment.
  • Good working knowledge of AirTable, Smartsheet or a similar project management or issue tracker tool – ability to build workstreams is essential.
  • Strong ability to think systemically about processes and workflows.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to articulate operational or account challenges both laterally to peers as well as upward to senior management
  • Required strong PC proficiency and expertise with MS Office (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).

Responsibilities:

As Operations Manager you will:

  • Support the Director, Client Operations in identifying areas for improving processes, ways of working and other operational aspects of the account and support thedevelopment of initiatives that streamline ways of working.
  • Work on the audit, creation, maintenance and roll-out of Operating Manual and other operational playbooks, documentation and processes across several work-streams(planning process, finance, production, reporting and more).
  • Build and maintain repositories for key documents (Box, Sharepoint) and best practice/case study artefacts (proprietary Nike Energy Portal), own the maintenance and update of all templates, playbooks, processes, and relevant thought leadership documentation.
  • Support in the roll out of Airtable, central project management tool to all Initiative x Nike workstreams and be responsible for building project plans for key deliverables using the platform as well as support in tracking project progress.
  • Support the Director, Client Operations to develop action plans to address client feedback and drive improvement in service delivery.
  • Support the CAM team in hosting regular market status calls with internal teams, client stakeholders and markets (frequency dependent on client/time of year)
  • Together with IT and technology teams, support the rollout of licenses for tools (Slack, Box Zoom and Nike tools for each specialist teams) to team members andensure that IT and other functions can provide optimum support to the Nike account.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate lists of access (live and expired).
  • Work with other business functions such as finance, billing and analytics teams to ensure the processes in these areas are calibrated and documented to ensure thebest possible delivery of service.
