Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves overseeing the Rooms Division, Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Maintenance departments. The successful candidate will ensure smooth daily operations, uphold high standards of service, and provide leadership in the absence of the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Rooms Division Management: Oversee all aspects of room operations, ensuring that guest rooms meet brand standards for cleanliness and presentation.
Front Desk Supervision: Manage front desk operations, including guest check-in/check-out, reservations, and customer service.
Housekeeping Leadership: Ensure housekeeping staff maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
Maintenance Coordination: Oversee the maintenance team to ensure that the hotel’s facilities and equipment are in excellent condition.
Guest Satisfaction: Maintain a strong presence with guests, addressing issues promptly and ensuring a memorable stay.
Staff Management: Lead, train, and develop departmental staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Operational Efficiency: Implement and monitor standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality.
Budget Management: Assist in managing departmental budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing resource allocation.
General Manager Support: Act as the General Manager’s deputy, stepping in to manage the hotel in their absence.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in hotel operations management, with a focus on Rooms Division, Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Maintenance.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
Strong problem-solving skills and a guest-focused approach.
Financial acumen, including budgeting and cost control.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
