Description:
Due to continued growth, a fresh opportunity has emerged for an energetic and experienced Operations Manager who is passionate about fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Reporting to the CEO, this role will take full responsibility for the operational performance across the Production, Packaging/Labelling, Warehousing and Logistics departments of a leading manufacturer of paint products and associated mediums. These high-quality products are sold in retailers across Australia and to commercial customers internationally.
To be successful, you will have a strong background in operations and planning in a production manufacturing environment. You will possess the ability to deep-dive into a mix of basic day-to-day operations through to manufacturing complexities, whilst maintaining a wholistic strategic vision for the business.
DESIRABLE
- Experience in Chemical, Food, FMCG or Resource sectors highly regarded
- Qualifications in Engineering, Science or Business
- PMP certification, Lean, Six Sigma or similar qualifications
Location: Horsby NSW surrounding suburb
Salary package: $150,000-$160,000k + superannuation per annum
Hours of Work: 8:00am to 4:00pm standard hours. Flexibility on spread across 4-5 days per week Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational plans, policies, and procedures to optimise efficiency and productivity
- Supply chain optimisation from raw materials to finished product shipments
- Develop forward planning capabilities in resource management and demand planning
- Lead improvement of ESG principles in sourcing, manufacturing and distribution
- Manage all 3rd party relationships
- Provide leadership and guidance to department managers and staff
- Prepare operational reports, performance metrics, budgets and other documentation
- Manage compliance and record management of Safety/OHS obligations
