OPERATIONS MANAGER
At THS National, we are looking for a detail oriented, imaginative individual who enjoys creating processes and seeing their ideas in action. The successful candidate will possess extensive construction knowledge and be operationally focused. This position is a dynamic role, helping to develop future leaders and growing stable branches within the organization.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Operations Manager is responsible for the Training and Development of Branch Leaders on THS National Operations SOP’s, Tools, and Construction Tech Usage. In addition, they will provide Operational Support to Emerging Branch Leaders with Focus on Trade/Supplier Resource Generation, Budget and Finance Management, Scheduling, and Customer Reporting. Creating and Managing Regional Workload Planner to Support Branches to Work to operational capacity and at The Highest Standard.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Construction or Renovation Experience REQUIRED
- Experience with Procore and Acumatica is a plus!
- Exceptional verbal, written, listening and stand-up communication skills
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision, have strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Work with a powerful sense of urgency and set timelines on every task with clarity
- Willingness to travel throughout Florida is REQUIRED

Responsibilities:
- Support Branches by organizing a list of trades and supplier partners needed to execute multifamily capital improvement projects.
- Introduce and encourage usage of National Supplier Partners.
- Assist in resourcing trade partners needed to execute
- Oversee Budget to Buyout Exercise and ensure that Account Managers are planning their projects financially with overall good health and project performance.
- Oversee material purchasing and ensure that Account Managers are using National Vendors where applicable and getting hard bids from more localized supplier resources.
- Oversee Trade Partner finance allocation. Work in SOP defined parameters that limit risk to THS National. Examples include Hiring trade partners that work on 30-day terms, matching trade partner billing to customer billing, and understanding installer size/capacity so that Account Manager Teams do not overwhelm
- Ensure all projects have schedules documented and accurate to current project standings.
- Work with Training and Development Department to perform skill and tool training for Scheduling.
- Perform periodic jobsite visits to check schedule usage for planning and that reporting is accurate.
- Ensure that weekly customer reports are being sent, per defined frequency and date of request.
- Work with Account Managers in Procore to document daily logs and critical path activity.
- Ensure that all changes in scope are well documented and Account Managers communicate all variances in project expectations.
- Travel around Florida will be required.
