UOVO Fashion, the premier storage and services provider for fashion and wardrobes seeks an engaging and collaborative Operations Manager to join its dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will lead the operations and technical team in the Los Angeles area facility and serve as a brand ambassador in the region.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Team Player, able to work in a dynamic environment
  • Comfortable in a results-driven workplace
  • 5+ years of demonstrated effective people management experience
  • 7+ years warehouse, project management and/or logistics experience
  • Experience interacting with fashion industry professionals
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft office suite
  • Ability to carry 40 pounds of varying size and shape up to a distance of 90 feet
  • Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach overhead
  • Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, dollies and other necessary warehouse equipment
    This in-person position requires on-site presence at UOVO Fashion’s Los Angeles facility five days a week with occasional requests to work nights and on weekends.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all day to day operations for UOVO Fashion, LA including a team of Wardrobe Managers, Photographers, Client Experience Technicians, and Quality Assurance to ensure the highest level of efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure all client appointments are scheduled and executed in an efficient and timely manner in conjunction with the Account Management team.
  • Conduct site visits and provide on site supervision for various service jobs.
  • Support in preparing estimates and provide technical feedback to the Business Development and Account Management teams as needed.
  • Ensure all paperwork such as Warehouse Receipts, BOLs, and other inventory audits are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Oversee the ordering of supplies for Los Angeles.
  • Ensure the warehouse is properly secured each day and functioning well.
  • Manage and process any pertinent expenses and invoices.
  • Regularly collaborate and communicate with other UOVO teams to ensure alignment on policies and procedures as well as other key initiatives.
  • In conjunction with other key stakeholders, establish goals and objectives in line with UOVO’s Performance Management program; providing quarterly feedback and completing annual performance reviews for all direct reports and their teams.
  • Create a positive and engaging work environment by mentoring, coaching, and motivating direct team members and their teams if applicable.
