Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Operations & Product Specialist Fresh Meat & Seafood on a permanent basis on our Fresh Food team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, SK. For the right candidate we will consider Edmonton AB, or Winipeg MB

WHO YOU ARE:

You are looking for a career in Sales & Marketing and:

• Have 6-9 years of relevant progressively responsible experience (fresh meat & seafood experience is an asset).
• Have a bachelor’s degree in business or marketing (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
• Food Safety Certification is an asset.
• Microsoft Office experience is an asset.

• Work with the Sr. Operations Manager, Meat & Seafood to develop and execute plans intended to increase excellence in retail operations.
• Liaise between the FCL Meat Department category, zone, and supply chain teams ensuring that effective communication exists.
• Work in collaboration with the Category Management team to provide input on branded and private label products, assortment, and SKU rationalization needed for category growth and improved retail profitability.
• Provide technical and commodity support to FCL and its’ Zone teams, develop, maintain, and update all training, recipes, formula, and procedures manuals.
• Assist with project planning in CRS food stores where new or renovated projects are identified and follow through to project completion.

  The Team: You will work closely with the FCL Zone teams, Category Management teams and will report into the Sr. Operations Manager, Meat & Seafood. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
