Our Private Wealth Advisor Services team is growing! We are seeking an Account Manager for IPC One Advisor Services, someone who will support newly accredited Portfolio Managers in a relationship management capacity, ensuring that their clients’ accounts transition successfully to IPC One. This individual will function as the liaison between the Portfolio Managers and internal departments at IPC in all aspects of the Advisor Journey.
WHAT ARE THE PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PRIVATE WEALTH ACCOUNT MANAGER?
- Must possess at least 1-3 years of IIROC industry work experience at the administrative level with knowledge of IIROC processes.
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration.
- Completion of CSC is an asset.
- Must have advanced knowledge of IIROC online applications (ISM, Net Rep, i-Most, OSS).
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Office 365.
Responsibilities:
- Providing support to the Portfolio Manager, branch, and internal IPC teams on all requirements to facilitate the transition of clients smoothly. (households, non-mandated accounts systematic financials, documentation required and e-delivery)
- Reviewing all paperwork received for existing/new account opening through the applications used.
- Coordinate with the IPC Branch Manager (Compliance) to ensure that all requirements are met.
- Consult with back office to address trading inquiries and/or challenges and escalate issues to management as needed.
- In depth understanding and processing of workflows and procedures required to transition existing accounts to managed/non-managed accounts on the new platform.
- Complete Daily Investment Form for initial investments on non-managed accounts.
- Monitor and track transition activity for reporting purposes, identify SLAs and opportunities for improvement.
- Build and maintain relationship with the Portfolio Manager and team through consistent touchpoints (e-mails, meetings, and dashboard updates).
- Ensure professional and timely communication both written and verbal when addressing inquiries and/or challenges.
- Function as the single point of contact for the advisors and internal business members, as well as providing an update on the progress: advancements made and next steps.
- Maintain accurate records to report weekly and monthly volumes, SLA, issues, and resolution.
- Identify trends of re-occurring, ongoing and/or regular challenges experienced by the Portfolio Managers and internal partners.
