SUMMARY:
We are looking for an Operations Research Analyst to support the Master Resilience Training Program in support of the Directorate of Prevention, Resilience, and Readiness (DPRR) programs.
Responsibilities:
NECESSARY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Proficiency in statistics and statistical analysis packages software such as SPSS, R, SAS, and DOD Approved survey administration software (such as Qualtrics).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically, analyze complex data sets, and draw meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts and analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Possess a thorough knowledge of the Army organizational structure, mission objectives, function, procedures, regulations, and policy pertaining to the Department of the Army.
- Shall speak, read, and comprehend English to the extent that they can read and understand printed regulations, written orders, operating procedures, training instructions and materials, and perform the duties assigned.
- Must have a professional appearance that is appropriate for their position and adhere to facility dress codes. Contractor employees shall conduct themselves in a professional, efficient, and courteous manner.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in operations research; or a degree with at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics.
- Experience in creating and analyzing pre and post event surveys, creating and delivering briefs of survey data, summarizing and thematically chunking open ended comment data.
- Experience with all Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) (Tier 1) background investigation.
- Must be a US citizen
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with operations research methodologies, optimization techniques, and decision analysis is a plus.
- Knowledge of database management systems (SQL, MySQL, Oracle) and data warehousing concepts is preferred.
The salary range for this position is $88,786 - $105,786 annually
