OPERATIONS SPECIALIST | HYBRID | GRAND RAPIDS, MI | CONTRACT
Walker Healthforce is seeking an Operations Specialist for a healthcare client located in Grand Rapids, MI. This is a contract opportunity.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Provides operational support for new and existing programs and projects. Ensures accurate and timely documentation, reporting, data collection, and database utilization.
- Prepares progress reports, study results, and other required reports.
- Collects and analyzes data related to process, productivity, value, and quality.
- Initiates, develops, and recommends operational practices and procedures to enhance efficiency, safety, productivity, and reduce costs.
- Engages in process and quality improvement initiatives, implementing recommendations and documenting new workflows.
- Serves as the operational lead, providing structure, project management, and direction for workflow transformation and operational initiatives.
- Collaborates with leadership to develop action plans and project plans focused on operations and business management.
- Assists in coordinating compliance activities to ensure services comply with State and Federal regulations, organizational policies, medical staff bylaws, and accreditation/compliance requirements.
- May serve as interim leadership.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business, healthcare administration or related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience proven leadership
