QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school Diploma or equivalent required; completion of college level Accounting courses preferred
  • Fluent in French and English
  • 1 to 3 years of experience with computerized payroll and billing systems; experience with Oracle preferred
  • Excellent computer skills with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ten-key and data entry skills
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and speed in data entry
  • Strong working knowledge of basic office equipment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills along with demonstrated diplomacy skills
  • Strong clerical skills
  • Careful attention to detail

Responsibilities:

  • Answering phone calls and responding to customer and Driver inquiries in a timely manner with the highest degree of courtesy and accuracy
  • Facilitating the flow of information within the Customer Service Centre
  • Completing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll tasks
  • Entering data from timesheets on a daily basis; performing daily audits and entering corrections; transmitting payroll
  • Entering information into various computer systems/applications
  • Generating payroll and billing reports as needed
  • Encouraging compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Maintaining accurate, organized, and up to date filing systems for all administrative records
  • Maintaining security of all files and records
  • Scheduling and invoicing field trips and charters
  • Performing general office duties including writing letters, generating reports, drafting pay-memos, copying, filing, faxing, etc
