JOB SUMMARY

The Operations Success Manager (OSM) is a reliable knowledge source with proficiency in evaluating the needs of an organization and supporting the solution for their challenges. As a subject matter expert, this person should have an excellent track record in leading the solution, progress, and documentation of the technical solution.
The OSM is a person who profoundly understands a particular technology, material, process, department, or equipment. The SME will assist our teams in strengthening their unique expertise while resolving specific issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication is crucial for OSM to convey complex information effectively. They should be able to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders using easily understandable language. Good listening skills are also crucial to understanding the needs and concerns of others.
Analytical Thinking: OSM needs strong analytical skills to analyze complex problems, identify patterns, and propose effective solutions. They should be able to think critically and assess situations from multiple perspectives. This analytical thinking allows OSMs to provide valuable insights and make informed decisions.
Collaboration and Teamwork: OSM often works as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues from different departments or disciplines. Effective OSMs should have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others. They should be able to contribute their expertise while also valuing and respecting the contributions of their teammates.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the analysis, continuous improvement, and sustainment of the IS/Service system of record as it supports the Modigent business system.
  • Responsible for understanding and transferring knowledge regarding how information systems support functional areas, the company, and its goals.
  • Provides application support and applies expert knowledge for deployment and administration of IS/Service processes.
  • Provides ongoing support post-go-live ensuring a successful implementation and supports ongoing training needs as required by the business.
  • Provides functional support and analysis for one or more of the IS/Service application modules.
  • Acts as a strategic partner between the business community and IT development teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to business applications.
  • Analyzes and performs testing of upgrades, fixes, and the navigation infrastructure supplied by software vendors for functionality and efficiency.
  • Accountable for all aspects of requirements testing (e.g., testing plan, scenarios, documentation, defect management) to ensure minimal production defects.
  • Creates and analyzes standard and ad-hoc queries and reports.
  • Provides required business and/or subject matter expertise for both project and production-related activities.
  • Assures compliance to required standards and that all necessary approvals have been obtained.
  • May also participate as a subject matter expert for new strategic programs or initiatives impacting current and existing systems.
