Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a reliable, customer friendly and fast learning person to join our Operations team at our branch based in Belmore, 2192. Enjoy the security of this permanent full-time position working Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. Reporting to the Branch Manager, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide strong leadership through exceptional organisation skills, setting clear direction, role clarity and performance expectations for your team
- Ensure WHS standards are upheld and managed as per WHS policies
- Monitor and manage Inwards stock, Booked in Stock and Stock not fully booked in to ensure inspections meet KPI’s
- Ensure all Inspectors KPI’s are met in line with vendors requirements
- Ensure all Inspectors carry out the inspections the same way based on Best Practice Principles
- Ensure all vehicles for auction are prepared and ready before auction day
- Provide detailed daily/weekly reporting demonstrating productivity and current status
- The ability to plan/adjust resource to fit daily requirements
- Maximise revenue opportunities, this includes workshop Roadworthy Certificates and quotes
- Manage Quality Control Processes
- Ensure Employee Engagement plan is implemented by providing clear communication between staff and management
- Ensure all aspects of People and Culture are managed for your team i.e.: Professional Development Plans, onboarding, training, and performance management
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:
- A proven track record in operations, ideally with experience in the Auction or automotive industries
- Rectification background preferred
- Strong understanding in vehicle variants by Make and Model
- Hands on approach to Inspections i.e. ability to carry out inspections when required
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
- Adaptable and flexible in fast paced environments
- Ability to engage and motivate a team with strong people management skills
- Competent verbal and written communication skills
- Competent MS Office skills and the ability to learn our user-friendly auction system
- Demonstrated understanding of WH&S regulations
- Current/Valid manual Driver’s licens
