EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • College diploma.
  • Between three (3) and five (5) years of relevant experience in warehousing or any related field.
  • Experience in employee management and supervision.
  • Or equivalent combination of work and education.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the operations manager and collaborating with other supervisors, the incumbent in this position will have the following main responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and mobilize operations employees during their respective shifts.
  • Ensure compliance with warehouse policies, procedures, standards, and regulations, actively participating in their improvement (occupational health and safety, BRCGS standards, HACCP, etc.).
  • Participate in managing disciplinary cases and complaints in collaboration with management and the human resources department.
  • Conduct accident investigations and participate in analyses.
  • Contribute to the implementation of corrective measures.
  • Proactively identify problems and implement solutions.
  • Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service to customers.
  • Ensure that employees have received the necessary training and information to perform their work.
  • Communicate relevant information to other shifts.
  • Verify receipts and shipments to ensure accuracy of required information.
  • Take necessary photos (product receipts and shipments, equipment damage, etc.).
  • Conduct research as needed in the computerized system.
  • Contribute to achieving objectives and continuous performance improvement.
  • Approve hours for employees assigned to the shift.
  • Prepare various reports.
  • Collaborate with other team members.
  • Temporarily replace the warehouse manager in the absence of the director of operations (due to leave, vacations, etc.).
  • Perform any other related tasks.
