Description:

Randstad are proud to currently be partnering with a large State Government Department in recruiting an A03 Operation Support Officer. This is a great opportunity to kick start your Public Sector career and develop fundamental skills in a supportive team.

Your duties will be tasks including but not limited to…

  • Process applications and ensure accuracy and quality document management
  • Provide enquiry response and advice to Regions and other external organizations
  • Use information systems to input, update and query information and extract and synthesize data
  • Respond to queries, compliments, complaints and appeals
  • Liaise with other departments, interstate and Commonwealth agencies and industry peak bodies
  • Write and/or review departmental and other correspondence in accordance with departmental standards
  • Manage work delivery to ensure agreed business outcomes, performance indicators and deadlines are achieved

What will you need to be successful in this role

  • Work autonomously and achieve results with minimal supervision
  • Work professionally at all times displaying initiative and drive to see that goals are achieved
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Extremely high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Analytical skills- interpreting numerical and written information
  • Reliable and adaptable to respond to changes in workloads and priorities.
  • Management of confidential and sensitive information
  • Data entry skills with the ability to quickly and accurately enter data into systems
  • Excellent punctuality and attendance
