Description:

As an Operator, you’ll be responsible for ethical conduct and compliance. Your daily tasks will include operating large-scale equipment, weighing, measuring, and monitoring raw materials to ensure batches contain accurate ingredients and quantities. You’ll perform in-process testing as specified within manufacturing documentation and identify any equipment malfunctions or process outputs that do not meet expected outcomes. You’ll maintain manufacturing areas to identified standards of cleanliness and neatness. Additionally, you’ll participate in LEAN principles within Manufacturing, attend daily meetings, raise issues to appropriate departments, ensure Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) reporting each shift, review performed Batch Records, complete all assigned training in a timely manner, execute 5S standards and autonomous maintenance, and participate in GENBA walk of area(s)/Equipment of responsibility.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 0-1 year experience in a cGMP environment
  • Mechanical propensity and ability to work with hands and tools to operate and perform minor maintenance on equipment
  • Ability to operate basic electronic equipment and possess basic computer skills
  • Ability to follow instructions

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • College course work in science
  • Compounding experience
  • Experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical environment or regulated industry
