Description:

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Media Prep Technician/Thermal Processor. Responsibilities:

  • Accurately measure dry and liquid components
  • Coordinate processing speed according to the daily production schedule
  • Follow all written procedures and report any discrepancies to the Area Supervisor
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
  • Perform all work activities in a safe and organized manner
  • Listen to, follow, and relay written and verbal instructions in English
  • Continuously monitor product for defects
  • Efficiently and safely operate assigned machinery
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Actively engage in making suggestions for process improvement
  • Encourage an atmosphere of collaboration

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 0-1 year of experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment
  • Familiarity with aseptic technique
  • Experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical environment preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs
  • Effective communication in English, both verbal and written
  • Basic math skills
