The Ophthalmic Imaging department at Southampton Eye Unit are recruiting for an Assistant Imaging Technician. Ophthalmic Imagers are an integral part of the Eye Unit Team and provide imaging of all aspects of the eyes to help with the diagnosis and monitoring of eye conditions.
You will be joining a friendly team of over 25 imagers and following training, get to use state of the art, world leading imaging equipment. Southampton Eye Unit is a very busy regional centre of excellence, so some degree of stamina will be needed.

The position is full time, 37,5 hours per week, usually worked in a shift pattern over 4 days. Some evening and weekend working is involved. The Southampton Eye Unit is a regional centre of excellence and we see patients from all over the South of England and Channel Islands
