Storekeeper
This role will provide Logistics Support to the aviation engineering environment to ensure that the aircrafts are maintained in an airworthy condition in accordance with current regulations and the certification and release of aircraft to the customer. Main responsibilities of the role include: Supporting the engineering teams carrying out maintenance on Viking and other contract-related aircraft. Receive, issue, control, and account for all equipment within Stores and the engineering environment in accordance with the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE), including working with receipt, dispatch, and handling of dangerous goods in accordance with current MOD operating instructions. Stocktaking and auditing of accounts and inventories. Act as the Issue Centre for tools and consumables required within the engineering environment.
What you’ll need to do the role: Previous storekeeping experience. Understanding of current COSHH regulations. Understanding of ADR regulations and ideally been previously Dangerous Goods ADR qualified. Be computer literate with experience of MJDI.
Aircraft Supervisor Mechanical
This role will carry out the responsibilities and duties of Support Staff with Supervisory Responsibilities in accordance with Military Aviation Authority Regulatory Publication Regulatory Article 4801 and Part 145. We are looking for an individual who can lead and supervise engineering personnel carrying out maintenance on Viking and other contract-related aircraft at RAF Syerston and other locations throughout the UK.
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO DO THE ROLE:
The members of our team come from both a military and civilian background. To meet the qualification and experience requirements of the role, we require our supervisors to meet one or more of the following;
Be appropriately experienced and have completed, as a minimum, MOD Phase 2 technical training
Hold an appropriate category A, B1, B2 or C licence in compliance with European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Annex III (Part 66)
Be appropriately experienced and have completed suitable civilian training (civilian contractors only)
The successful post holder must demonstrate having experience to hold Support Staff with Supervisory Responsibilities or civilian equivalent. You should have a minimum of 5-years’ experience in equivalent civilian industry or Armed Forces in a relevant trade group.
Aircraft Senior Supervisor Mechanical
Based at RAF’s Central Gliding School you’ll lead and manage teams carrying out maintenance on Glider aircraft at the base and around the country. As part of the role, you’ll carry out the duties of Certifying Staff in accordance with Military Aviation Authority Regulatory Publication Regulatory Article 4801 and Part 145.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO DO THE ROLE:
The members of our team come from both a military and civilian background. To meet the qualification and experience requirements of the role, we require our supervisors to meet one or more of the following:
Be appropriately experienced and have completed, as a minimum, MOD Phase 2 technical training
Be appropriately experienced and have completed suitable civilian training (civilian contractors only)
You’ll also need to demonstrate that you have held authority or potential to sign for independent inspection (Military) or duplicate inspections (Civilian). Furthermore, you’ll need to have knowledge of military or civilian aircraft maintenance documentation and publication.
