Responsibilities:
Veterans Evaluation Services (VES), a veteran-focused firm under contract with the Veterans Administration, is seeking an Optometrist and/or Ophthalmologist in the Starkville, MS area. Enhance your professional experience by conducting exams for Veterans and transitioning service members. Personalize your schedule and perform exams at your own office!
These one-time compensation and pension exams for military veterans are unique, as they focus on the non-treatment aspect. The provider’s responsibility is to assess the veteran by completing a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ), without providing treatment, prognosis or a therapy plan.
- Serve Veterans and transitioning service members without further treatment
- Earn additional income with VES through examinations scheduled at your convenience (accommodating four hours per week and beyond)
- Receive direct payment for exams on the first and fifteenth of each month
- VES handles all billing processes, streamlining administrative tasks for you
