We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to join our Technology team.
About the role:
As an Oracle APEX Developer, you will be responsible for the technical design and development of quality solutions to effectively meet business requirements for Bunnings Inventory Teams.
You also will assist with the resolution of support issues, and actively participating in Bunnings’ technical knowledge-sharing culture with other Developers and Quality Analysts.
You will advocate for continuous improvement with a strong focus on quality to help the team shift left in their quality control.
About you
You are an experienced Oracle Developer, with experience supporting APEX development and a deep knowledge of software engineering best practices.
As an Oracle Developer here at Bunnings, you will be involved in the full Software Development Lifecycle where you will develop, test, and deploy code in a variety of programming environments. This role will see you support the build and management of the backend infrastructure, implementation of new features in a highly collaborative environment with product owners and engineers.

Some of your technical experience may include:

• Detailed experience in Oracle APEX development experience
• An understanding of databases (Azure/SQL Server/Oracle) and SQL
• An aptitude for problem-solving & critical-thinking
• Functional knowledge of Oracle Apex modules
• Ability to generate data fixes for known issues
• Knowledge of core software delivery life cycle (SDLC) principles, such as:
• agile software development,
• continuous deployment,
• behaviour-driven development,
• code review processes,
• design documentation,
• infrastructure as code
