On behalf of Deloitte, AMS are looking for an Oracle Developer for an initial 6 month contract based in Dublin City Centre (Kildare Street). Extension is likely here, there is great scope for longevity in this role.
Purpose of the Role:

Deloitte have won a high profile contract with a Public Sector body. You would be handling all of their Oracle requirements, including on a data migration.

  • Designing, developing and integrating highly complex database systems for internal and external users/clients.
  • Developing Oracle reports, database procedures (PL/SQL,) and UNIX shell scripts.
  • Modifying existing codes to optimise Oracle applications.
  • Setting up database user accounts and permissions.
  • Training Oracle users on how to access the information in the database.
  • Performing complex analyses and reviews of applications being released into production.
  • Providing leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging applications.
  • Conducting functional and non-functional testing.
  • Participating in project meeting(s) for highly complex project definition, needs assessment and design review.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills as communicating with clients may be necessary.
