Our client, a leading financial services company located in Dublin, is looking for an Oracle Developer to join their team.
You will contribute to a variety of projects, with a primary focus on data engineering, including extensive Oracle database management, data integration via ETL and/or API development, and visualization with Tableau or similar tools. The role emphasizes the significance of deploying data solutions on cloud platforms, specifically AWS and EKS, with additional desirable skills in data virtualization and front-end technologies such as Angular.
As an Oracle Developer, you will play a critical role in managing and enhancing the company’s data capabilities, focusing on Oracle databases, integrating data systems, and contributing to cloud-based data solutions.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field is preferable.
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle databases is essential.
• Familiarity with Tableau, Java, and a solid understanding of BI and database development.
• Knowledge in data modeling, data virtualization tools (e.g., Tibco Information Server), Angular, and HTML is beneficial.
• Experience with Kubernetes/EKS, and AWS is desirable.
• Strong capabilities in writing and optimizing SQL.
• Profound API integration experience.
• An understanding of micro-services architecture concepts and Agile methodologies.
