  • Effectively communicate needs, new programs, forecasts and strategies with all levels of management.
  • Responsible for applying a systematic problem-solving approach when transactions fail.
  • Accomplish KPI’S target and create action plans for the ones that are not in target.
  • Attend escalations property and get them to the correct level with sales team to avoid any affectation.
  • Support communication flow between different departments.
  • Ensure that the systems are being used correctly. (One network, Oracle , IBM, Igear, ESS)
  • Maintain sales orders clean daily.
  • Daily revision of get paid problems.
  • Maintains courteous, impartial, and objective dealing with customers.
  • Follows environmental and safety regulations and acts in compliance with US laws
  • Complies with safety and corporate guidelines on business ethics

Requirements:

  • 5+ years related work experience in a role in supervisor Shipping/Receiving, or Materials Management in Tier 1 automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of MRP, inventory control, shipping and receiving.
  • Logistic experience.
  • Ability to represent the company effectively in dealing with customers.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to conduct customer related tasks via the telephone, e-mail, Internet, and in person.
  • Good communications skills (both oral and written) and good negotiating skills
  • Solid decision-making skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Demonstrated experience with widely accepted MRP systems and applications software.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations under stress.
  • Engage in matters involving high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism and tact.
  • Working knowledge of various supply chain strategies including, JIT, Kanban with a through understanding of production and inventory control principles.
  • Ability to create, track and meet schedules at a multi-task level along with project management skills

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE

Reports to the Materials Manager and collaborates closely with all other departments.
Responsible for EDI validation in Oracle to ensure all dependent software like ESS, One Network, Igear are being feed with the correct information. Works closely with the material demand analyst to make sure customer requirements are being received properly so the material planning team can order components to suppliers and deliver on time for the Master Scheduler release the production schedule to ship on time. Supports the shipping and receiving department in troubleshoot for known issues as well as being the bridge from the plant to our IT corporate resources.
Point of contact for any data request out of Oracle, responsible to develop reports that help the plant to understand data.
