This position is hybrid/remote and can sit in the footprint of Providence in the states of AK, WA, OR, CA, TX and MT . Ideal candidate would reside in, Renton/Seattle, WA, Portland/Beaverton, OR, or Irvine, CA main office locations. Full-time hybrid position – remote work will be considered with possible travel up to 20% of work schedule.

The Oracle Financial Application Analyst uses a wide application of principles, theories, and concepts related to finance and accounting processes in ERP system.

The job duties listed below are essential functions of the position. However, other duties may be assigned, and may also be considered essential functions of the position.

  • This position will be involved in the implementation and ongoing daily support of business applications on Finance and accounting:
  • Proficiency in ERP functional understanding is necessary, encompassing at least two of the following modules
  • General Ledger
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Cash Management
  • Fixed Assets
  • Lease Accounting
  • Tax/Vertex

Responsibilities include:

  • Deliberating new requirements for enhancements from business and provide functional solution as well as driving the CRs from requirement through the delivery process to deployment.
  • Executing Growth and Modernization projects for new acquisitions, standardizing the business process to existing global solution design.
  • Research pain points or slow processes and identifying opportunities for RPA, AI to achieve business process optimization.
  • Work as an individual contributor without external support on the assigned tasks.
  • Identify and analyze operational and systems issues and opportunities and produce effective solutions.
  • Assist business partners with business process improvement, business requirements gathering and test planning.
  • Prepare design specifications and test plans, scenarios and scripts.
  • Management of specific work items and/or projects, including planning, scoping, estimation, status reporting.
  • Help investigate and resolve system functional and technical errors. Troubleshoot on systems and data and generate solutions which may include systems modifications enhancements or new procedures.
  • Ability to design, configure and test systems functionality changes.
  • Report, track, and resolve application related issues with Oracle support.
  • Demonstrate service excellence and positive interpersonal relationships in dealing with others, so that productivity and positive relations are maximized.
  • Perform rotational on-call responsibilities.
  • Independently define tasks; identify stakeholders and their objectives. Create documentation, capable of writing complex scope of work and justifications.
  • Collaborate with team members and demonstrate willingness to lend support and help.
  • Share knowledge, insights and work among team members and partners.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, Engineering, Commerce or Combination of education and relevant experience (at least 3 years of functional experience)
  • 3 years Application design, implementation and/or maintenance of one or more of the following large scale Enterprise Resource Planning systems - Oracle Cloudsuite, Oracle EBS/EPM (Hyperion, etc.) Applications, PeopleSoft, Workday.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and above: Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, Engineering, Commerce or Combination of education and relevant experience
  • Oracle certification is preferable.
