Description:
Job Overview & Responsibilities:
Mythics is seeking an experience Oracle Technology Architect to support a long-term federal customer with sustaining current state architecture and technology platforms, while also provide thought leadership, technical guidance, and support in modernization efforts, including re-platforming, upgrading, migrating to Cloud, or other modern technology platforms.
- Develop and implement strategic vision and goals, aligned with the organization’s mission and values.
- Possess advanced knowledge and practical experience with enterprise databases (RDBMS), middleware platforms, enterprise technology architectures, software design and development, application migrations, and Cloud architectures.
- Develop reference documents to guide project teams in designing, developing, and deploying secure, scalable, and reliable enterprise applications and systems.
- Review documentation and deliverables to ensure adherence to and readiness for deployment to shared technology platform, define reference architectures, validate existing architectures, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Supervise, mentor, and coach technical staff, ensuring high quality service delivery and professional development.
- Lead and oversee the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions that meet the client’s expectations and align with industry best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress and outcomes of projects and programs, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, clients, vendors, and partners.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends, developments, and innovations in the technology and government sectors.
Qualifications:
- Due to program requirements, the position requires U.S. Citizenship – the selected candidate must be able to pass a government required background investigation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
- Master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
- 16+ years of work experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology consulting, with at least 3 years supporting the Federal Government sector.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience supporting large complex Oracle Database and Fusion Middleware environments (WebLogic, WebCenter, OAM, OID, OUD) environments
- Experience with Enterprise Content Management platforms (Oracle WebCenter Content), including managing metadata, taxonomies, records management, security architecture, encryption and web services
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), including SSO, Federation, Identity Directory, and integration with Login.Gov
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex large-scale technology projects.
- Deep understanding of the Federal Government’s technology needs, challenges, opportunities, as well as relevant regulations, standards, and policies.
- Strong knowledge of latest technologies, tools, and methodologies, such as Cloud Computing, AI/ML, Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), Cybersecurity, Analytics, and Digital Transformation.
- High level of creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills, with ability to think strategically and analytically.
- Preference for technical certifications, including Oracle Database, Oracle Middleware, Oracle Security, and Cloud Architecture
