ORACLE PRIMAVERA P6 SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT (SME) / CONSULTANT

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Primavera P6 Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Consultant to join our technology and analytics team, focusing on Capital Projects and Field Services within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Utility industries. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of Primavera Techno-Functional skills to support complex, multi-site programs and initiatives, leveraging a strong background in project management and software implementation to drive the successful execution of strategic business visions into successful projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Certified Primavera P6 EPPM Implementation Specialist and Oracle Primavera Trainer.
• Proven experience in Primavera P6 EPPM implementations, upgrades, and maintenance within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Utility industries.
• Strong background in project management, with hands-on experience across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Extensive experience in conducting workshops, developing technical and functional design documents, and leading integration projects.
• Proficient in SQL and database management, with a focus on performance optimization and data integrity.
• Excellent communication, training, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to translate strategic business objectives into successful project outcomes.

EDUCATION

• Master’s Degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Design or related field.

• Lead the integration, configuration, and deployment of Primavera P6 EPPM solutions, focusing on optimizing business processes for Capital Projects and Field Services.
• Conduct detailed functional design process documentation, capturing business processes and existing custom interfaces with 3rd party applications.
• Provide expert oversight on design configuration, serving as the Primavera Web Services Subject Matter Expert.
• Develop and execute test use cases, scenarios, and scripts for integration, acceptance, and system testing.
• Support the creation and maintenance of technical build documentation, including strategies for patching and upgrading environments.
• Offer guidance on best practices for database health checks, data cleanup, and performance improvements.
• Create complex SQL queries for reporting, data cleanup, and integrity checks.
• Mentor and train team members on Primavera P6 functionalities and best practices.
• Consult on the technical architecture and integration of Primavera P6 with other enterprise applications like Maximo, ensuring seamless data integration and reporting.
