Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required.
  • Advanced degrees such as a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or relevant certifications in project management are beneficial.
  • Experience:
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on Oracle-related projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle technologies, platforms, and products is essential.
  • Project Management Skills:
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum.
  • Experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource management, and risk management.
  • Leadership Skills:
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate project teams.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
  • Oracle Expertise:
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Oracle technologies, solutions, and products.
  • Familiarity with Oracle project management methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, effectively managing client expectations and addressing client needs.
  • Problem-solving and Analytical Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and develop effective solutions.
  • Certifications:
  • Relevant certifications in project management such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2 Practitioner, or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are advantageous.
  • Oracle certifications related to project management or specific Oracle products can also be beneficial.
  • Industry Knowledge:
  • Deep understanding of the industry landscape, trends, and challenges relevant to Oracle technologies and solutions.
  • Experience in industries such as technology, finance, healthcare, or manufacturing is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for Oracle-related projects.
  • Execute projects according to established plans, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
  • Identify project stakeholders and establish communication channels
  • Allocate resources effectively, including project team members, consultants, and external vendors.
  • Coordinate with resource managers to ensure availability and allocation of resources as needed.
  • Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize impact on project delivery.
  • Define project quality standards and ensure adherence to quality processes and methodologies.
  • Manage changes to project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Assess the impact of changes on project timelines, budgets, and resources, and communicate changes to stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with Oracle and third-party vendors.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and deliverable artifacts.
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to project stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, motivating team members to achieve project objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing client concerns or issues promptly.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and managing expectations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the project management framework.
  • Implement best practices, lessons learned, and feedback mechanisms to enhance project delivery effectiveness.
