QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required.
- Advanced degrees such as a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or relevant certifications in project management are beneficial.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on Oracle-related projects.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle technologies, platforms, and products is essential.
- Project Management Skills:
- Proficiency in project management methodologies such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum.
- Experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource management, and risk management.
- Leadership Skills:
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate project teams.
- Effective communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
- Oracle Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of Oracle technologies, solutions, and products.
- Familiarity with Oracle project management methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, effectively managing client expectations and addressing client needs.
- Problem-solving and Analytical Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and develop effective solutions.
- Certifications:
- Relevant certifications in project management such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2 Practitioner, or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are advantageous.
- Oracle certifications related to project management or specific Oracle products can also be beneficial.
- Industry Knowledge:

Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for Oracle-related projects.
- Execute projects according to established plans, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
- Identify project stakeholders and establish communication channels
- Allocate resources effectively, including project team members, consultants, and external vendors.
- Coordinate with resource managers to ensure availability and allocation of resources as needed.
- Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize impact on project delivery.
- Define project quality standards and ensure adherence to quality processes and methodologies.
- Manage changes to project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Assess the impact of changes on project timelines, budgets, and resources, and communicate changes to stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with Oracle and third-party vendors.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and deliverable artifacts.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to project stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, motivating team members to achieve project objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing client concerns or issues promptly.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and managing expectations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the project management framework.
- Implement best practices, lessons learned, and feedback mechanisms to enhance project delivery effectiveness.
