Description:
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
- Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience OR in the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations require. https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
- Previous shipping experience is required.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. unassisted on a regular basis and up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time bend, squat, stoop, reach, turn as required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities:
POSITION ROLE TYPE:
Onsite
This position will be responsible for the smooth flow of airline repairs into and out of the service center.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform duties related to processing customer repair orders in accordance with Standard Work procedures, and when required, redirect queries to appropriate department or personnel.
- Physically receives product and moves product through the repair process as necessary.
- Works with the Technical team to ensure customer repairs are completed per requirements.
- Processes repair documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Coordinate and create documentation of receipt and repair of equipment necessary to comply with federal policies.
- Utilize enterprise system (SAP) to input or extract repair/material data.
- Maintain knowledge of Collins organization and products to provide the appropriate information and support to customers.
- Consistently document customer service needs to identify patterns and maintain quality.
- Pack goods for shipment according to specifications, equipment characteristics, transportation methods and routes using proper procedures and materials.
- Ship goods and verify items against import/export requirements where applicable Check goods against shipping documents and authorizations.
- Verify identification and quality of product.
- Posts weight and shipping charges.
- Stamps, stencils, or attaches information and shipping instructions on containers.
- Receive and unpacks goods.
- Perform and manage administrative functional support to the shipping/receiving departments.
- Record shipped & received items according to established system procedures.
- Ensure the completion of all paperwork relating to the shipment of goods.
- Assist with loading, unloading and transport of materials and finished product.
- Transport product with or without product carts.
- Use hands, arms, and shoulders for extended periods of time to perform material handling.
