We are looking for an experienced, positive and agile
Responsibilities:
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Order management: order status updates at ERP, monitoring, reporting and availability updates of supply and demand (S&OP).
- Transportation Management: planning, managing, optimization and tracking of import shipments.
- Reporting and monitoring of the costs and timelines of import shipments. Import transportation budget preparation and follow up.
- Customs clearance of import shipments – instructions for forwarding and delivery
- Customs subject matters: Intra EU and extra EU trade – Customs credit – Customs audit – Customs related permits – returns and adjustments.
- Cross trade shipments – both EU and Far East
- Material export shipments for suppliers globally including shipment contracts.
- Freight invoice verification – accounting
- Trade Finance: opening of letters of credit – giving payment authorizations to banks.
- Provision of guidance to suppliers, purchasing, marketing and sales department and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Intrastat reporting - import
- Continuous development of operations and cooperation between stakeholders
IN ORDER TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE, YOU HAVE:
A relevant educational background e.g. logistics, business administration or engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in order management, export, import or warehouse logistics operations
Strong analytical skills and interest in Logistics analytics
Experience and/or knowledge of supply chain management and willing to challenge yourself
Ability to perform under pressure with little supervision with good planning and organizing skills
True passion for process development and interest to daily improvement of operational work
Fluent communication skills in Finnish and in English
Must have strong ICT skills with focus on ERP, Demand planning and MS Office
