QUALIFICATIONS

Education (minimum required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Behavior/Development, Training & Development or related field required.

Experience (minimum required)

  • Three (3) to Five (5) years of Learning & Development experience or related HR experience in managing organizational and development programs.
  • Experience administering Human Resource Information Systems, with a preference for Cornerstone LMS.
  • Experience working with oil and gas sector with some international experience an advantage.

Substitutions

  • Five (5) years of related experience performing at a professional level may be substituted for a 4-year degree

Certifications / Licenses

  • CIPD membership, ATD certification or equivalent.
  • Requires a valid driver’s license and comply with Core Lab’s driving policy.
  • Requires a valid passport.

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for the coordination ongoing development and effective delivery of a variety of workforce and organizational development programs to achieve superior business results. Provides support and advice to the business on performance management, talent review and succession planning programs. Partner with the global human resources community and the business leadership to ensure the programs are fit for purpose and align with other learning initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develops, implements, and improves programs and processes for performance management, talent review and succession planning. Ensure that programs have a viable project plan and key performance indicators.
  • Administers Core Lab’s Talent Management System, particularly around Learning Management (LMS), performance management, talent review and succession planning.
  • Collaborates within HR and the organization to implement the performance management, talent review, and succession planning programs; utilize tools, resources, templates, and reporting to support process.
  • Works with employees and managers to ensure they understand the core programs and their respective role in delivering them.
  • Takes the instructional design lead in the development of programs and recommends the most appropriate delivery channel. Develops and delivers training linked to Core Lab learning programs.
  • Assesses and monitors outcomes of programs, providing follow-up to ensure desired goals are met.
  • Reviews, monitors, prepares, analyzes and distributes data on the effectiveness of current programs, trends and solutions. Provides input for continued improvements.
  • Consult with the HR team to provide guidance on performance management, talent management, succession planning and organizational development.
  • Deliver Train-the-Trainer sessions for the HR Generalist group to enable them to support their area of the Business for OD/Core Lab core programs.
  • Partner with business to continuously improve core programs to support alignment with corporate objectives and strategic aims.
  • Implement and oversee programs that strengthen employee knowledge, skills, and behaviors, improve leadership and the overall company culture.
  • Work with senior management in diagnosing problems and setting goals, creating training programs to meet these goals, to enhance employee productivity, engagement, and satisfaction.
  • Facilitate internal learning events and workshops, delivering content as appropriate.
  • Supports the delivering of learning and training programs, managing delegate lists, joining instructions and evaluation process.
  • Promote the learning and development strategy.
  • May leading or participating in special projects related to organizational and HR strategic initiatives.
  • Looks for ways to continually improve the organizations learning and development offerings.
  • Read relevant articles and journals to broaden understating of new initiatives in the field of organizational development.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
