YOUR SKILLS CONSIST OF

Education: Relevant university education in e.g. finance, economics, surveying, legal.
Level of expertise/experience: Work experience within an active Real Estate Lender (Bank or Debt Fund), Real Estate investor, Corporate Finance, Structured Finance or investment banking environment is desirable as well as financial modelling skills, and knowledge and interest in the Nordic Real Estate market.
Knowledge of systems: Excellent IT skills with advanced Excel capabilities, Word, and PowerPoint.
Languages: Excellent spoken and written Swedish and English, preferably with business competence in a further North European language. German is not a must, but would be appreciated.
Personal and business skills: Strong analytical, writing and verbal skills.
Motivated, self-starter and inventive. Willingness to make an impact. Desire and commitment to learn new things and grow professionally. Business acumen and negotiation skills.
Technical knowledge: Numerate, analytical and experienced with the Commercial Real Estate market. Able to rapidly acquire financial modelling and due diligence skills. Ability to learn internal business tools and models. Self-developing to grow knowledge and experience in the real estate market, real estate financing and structures and the Bank’s operations. Will have an Origination target.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and presenting (or assisting with) loan proposals to existing and potential clients in the Nordic real estate market.
  • Initial analysis of potential financing opportunities considering risks and mitigants, and be part of a deal team presenting opportunities to the bank’s various committees and boards.
  • Preparing detailed models and analysis needed for real estate financing including:
  • Cash flow models and sensitivity analysis
  • IRR calculations
  • General debt structuring
  • Tenant analysis
  • Accounting / tax implications
  • Assisting the deal team with activities that help the deal process, e.g. attending external and internal meetings and follow-up actions, following-up on client requests, assisting with memos / proposals to internal Committees.
  • Act as deputy (depending on deal size / complexity) for assigned deals and specific aspects of the deal.
  • Assisting with the preparation of term sheets and other transaction documentation as required.
  • Building and maintaining assigned client relationships.
  • Contributing to new business ideas and products by researching potential clients, market developments, presenting findings and recommendations.
