Description:

Rock Medical is looking to add driven, energetic team players who are committed to being the most knowledgeable resources and providing the best customer service in the Orthopedic Industry. We are specifically looking to add strong sales-minded and results-oriented representatives to our Akron area sales teams.

Our Orthopedic Sales Representatives are primarily responsible for:

  • Providing unparalleled daily support to our surgeon-customers and their staff in the operating room across all several product categories including, but not limited to, Shoulder, Knee, Hip, Hand & Wrist, Foot & Ankle, and Orthobiologics.
  • Sustaining expert knowledge of our extensive, market-leading product portfolio and current industry trends. This position requires a high degree of intensity and commitment to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Demonstrating the proper use and application of Arthrex products and surgical techniques to surgeons and support staff.
  • Communicating with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics, including product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs.
  • Establishing, building, and maintaining strong relationships with all of our customers and teammates.
  • Developing and delivering sales strategies to meet the defined objectives and goals for a specific territory. (This position will specifically work on our Akron area sales teams.)
  • Assisting and participating in HCP-focused lab and training events.
  • Supporting compliance and acting with integrity at all times.
  • Being an extraordinary teammate: accountable, humble, trustworthy, and driven.
  • Believing in our mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • At least one year of sales experience in orthopedic/medical device sales or competitive B2B sales required. Demonstrated sales success in previous roles is a requirement.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Must be comfortable in surgery/operating room environments as our representatives spend a significant amount of time in the OR. Most of our sales representatives report directly to their accounts in the field; our Hudson office is a central location for our Northeast Ohio sales teams.
  • Must be able to satisfy the requirements necessary to obtain vendor credentials for the assigned sales area.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Few of us enter this role with all the skills necessary to earn the trust of highly-trained surgeons. Our training process consists of a comprehensive medical education and business development program covering products, surgical techniques, sales strategies, and service skills. During the first year of training, our Orthopedic Sales Representatives will observe over 500 surgical procedures and have the opportunity to make an impact on team sales quotas. At Rock Medical, we take individual development very seriously. Those who have a strong desire to learn will be provided with plenty of opportunities to grow and develop. Becoming an expert is a process that takes time, discipline, and dedication over many years.
We offer competitive and rewarding compensation and benefits packages. Details will be discussed during the interview process.
