We have an exciting Coordinator opportunity leading our BRAND NEW Outside School Hours Care service, Helping Hands Wamuran State School located in Wamuran.
About the role
You will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You’ll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into! Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration
This is a permanent part-time opportunity is offering 36 hours per week including 6 non-contact administration hours.
You will work across split shifts to support the service’s operating ours of Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 09:00am (Rise then Shine Program) and 3:00pm – 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program). You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too!

We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have: Enjoy working with kids Experience leading a team Strong and clear communication Team player with a desire to become a service leader Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we’ll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children Australian work rights Qualified or enrolled in a Diploma or Higher qualification in Education, Childcare, Humanities, Allied Health, Sport, Drama or similar
