YOU BRING THESE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• Technical education/experience in information technology areas, with a view toward adapting that knowledge to automation-centric OT environments.
• Interest/experience in system and network management, Windows and especially Linux system administration, IP routing/firewalling.
• A healthy self-driven interest in writing good and useful documentation.
• Experience with or an interest in norms and standards such a IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82r3.
• Light development in bash and Python.
• Interest in Infrastructure as Code (we use Ansible, Gitlab, Netbox, Rundeck).
• Must not be afraid of SSH, TLS, IPsec, X.509, GPG.
• Must be afraid of a CheckMK dashboard with a lot of CRITs displayed.
• Good language skills in English and preferably also in German.

• Continuous monitoring and analysis of OT assets regarding operational reliability and cyber security; ambition to become an expert in and a champion for the CheckMK monitoring system.
• Planning and implementation of cyber security solutions according to IEC 62443.
• Documenting and managing our OT security efforts in conjunction with internal audit teams, making sure we are meeting target objectives.
• Remote incident handling in close cooperation with on-site service as required.
• Troubleshooting VPNs and network configurations.
• Managing virtualization environments (currently VMware ESXi).
• Enhancement/customization of relevant tools, incl. documentation, training of team and remote resources, and Backoffice support.
• Processing of technical security incidents and observation of the hazard situation focused on the OT area.
• Improving our inventory management based on Netbox.
• Develop lifecycle strategy per asset class and trigger change requests to management resp. product owners
• Develop, test, evaluate, and document Network and Security Concepts including remote connections, factory production networks, and data acquisition. Produce documentation to ensure good understanding of technology changes by colleagues worldwide.
• Close collaboration with other teams, Global IT, Department Automation Engineering, Global R&D, and colleagues in the regions around the world.
