I am hiring for an OT Security Officer on behalf of a cutting-edge company specializing in renewable energy solutions. In this role you will be responsible for:

• Serve as the technical point of contact for security-related Operational Technology (OT) matters.
• Lead the implementation and ongoing enhancement of network and security standards, collaborating closely with their internal IT department.
• Oversee the introduction, integration, and monitoring of network architecture within customer networks.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of information security processes and organization-wide cyber security initiatives.
• Establish and manage remote maintenance connections within operator networks, in coordination with their IT team.
• Drive security enhancements through comprehensive assessments of current situations and analysis of emerging trends.
• Provide support for customer projects in partnership with project management and service teams.

This role is hybrid in Bavaria two days a week.

Essential:

• Relevant degree e.g. Computer Science, IT Security etc.
• Demonstrate proficiency in IT and OT within industrial network development and implementation
• Proficient in utilizing remote maintenance solutions securely
• Understanding of prevalent norms and standards in security environments, such as ISO 27001 and IEC 62443
• Strong communication skills
• C1 German and English
