Description:

A vacancy has arisen for a full time Band 3 Out-patient Clinic Administrator to come and work within our busy and friendly team at Bournemouth West Community Mental Health Team.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong attention to detail to provide comprehensive administrative support to the team.
The successful candidate will require ability to multi-task and work flexibly to manage the workload in accordance with agreed quality standards, and demonstrate a good knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes including Outlook and Word.
Previous NHS experience would be an advantage but not essential.
The post will be based at Hahnemann House, but occasional cover may be needed at the partner base at Turbary Park.
To ensure the provision of a professional and efficient and confidential administration service and a high standard of customer care.
Provide information to patients, staff, carers, relatives, G.Ps and Community Mental Health Teams, relating to appointments, patient care, service pathways and meetings. This should be done alongside the maintenance of computer systems, spreadsheets and databases that are required by the team.
The role also requires reception duties, using sound communication skills, sometimes being required to respond calmly to challenging or aggressive communication from patients.
