Outage Manager, Steam Turbine

NOMAC Maintenance Energy Services (NMES), serves as an extension of ACWA Power and NOMAC’s leadership in the region with regards to the power generation and water desalination sectors as well as the maintenance and operations sphere.

NMES supports its end-users by providing OEM level quality services and exceptional value creation through highly skilled and trained outage personnel (outage managers, Field Service Engineers, Technicians, specialists) and by applying innovative, downtime reducing services such as:

• Spark erosion technology
• On-site machining solutions for ST and GT casings, bearing pedestals, burner inserts, tip grinding
• On Site Rotor Machining and Low speed Balancing
• On site blasting, coating and curing of Compressor parts (blades/Vanes) with Aluminum Chromate coatings.
• Re-engineering services and pump spare manufacturing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree/Diploma holder in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

• 10 years (15 years in case of Diploma) experience in Operations and Maintenance of Power Plants
• Thorough knowledge of go-nogo criteria on Borescope findings is required
• Engineering/Outage Execution experience with OEM is a plus  Experience in outage management and execution of SST-700/900, 3000, 4000, 5000 and 6000 inspections are a plus.
• Experience in outage management and execution of GE D7, D11, Ansaldo S3 is a plus

• Thorough knowledge of power plant operations, maintenance, its equipment’s, practices, procedures
• Willing to work on International Sites, in hardship locations, shift work.
