Boater’s World Marine Centers is seeking an experienced Outboard Motor Sales Consultant to join our busy marine dealership in Bradenton, Florida. The Outboard Motor Sales Consultant sells outboard marine engines to customers via phone, e-mail, and in-person. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in assisting customers with selecting a motor to perform correctly with their vessel and with configuring the necessary components from manufacturers such as Yamaha, Mercury, or Suzuki. The candidate will work closely with the Service and Parts Departments to provide estimates for motor installation and with the Finance Department to arrange payment options for the customer.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients visiting the dealership
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the products and services offered by the dealership
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new product releases
  • Assists and guides customer inquiries that lead to increased sales revenue
  • Maintain constant flow of prospects into and out of the sales funnel
  • Fulfill customer inquiries and follow-up as appropriate using the Company’s approved CRM system
  • Successfully close sales transactions that benefit the customer, business, and salesperson
  • Accurately enter sale into dealer management system, and process appropriate paperwork
  • Take ownership of the sales process from initial call to post-sale follow-up
