Outbound Business Development Representative - MailChimp
Salary: €38,000 per annum and an OTE of €8,000 per annum
Location: Hybrid (2 days in Office, in Leopardstown, Dublin 18)

About the Outbound Business Development Representative:
MarketStar is hiring a Outbound Business Development Representative to represent our MailChimp client, a world-class business marketing tool. If you are passionate about cutting edge and emerging technology and are ready to join a successful and fast growing sales program at MarketStar, we have a great opportunity for you.

Your responsibility will be to create a pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities that can contribute to the company’s growth and success. As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in building the brand, creating a great first impression and building momentum for MailChimp to close new business.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Create sales-qualified opportunities by engaging with prospects and showcasing how MailChimp can transform their business.
  • Source opportunities on your own initiative as well as from qualified lead lists.
  • Qualify and handover sales ready opportunities to Account Executives.
  • Create lasting and beneficial relationships with Mailchimp stakeholders.
  • Adherence to daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.
  • Engage with prospective customers by phone, email & LinkedIn.
  • Achieve established sales goals and objectives.
  • Serve as a product and service advocate for the client, building interest and awareness of the client’s value proposition and assessing mutual fit.
  • Learn quickly and maintain current, comprehensive knowledge of clients’ products and services.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Fluent English Speaker.
  • Strong desire for a career in sales.
  • 1+ years of experience in a B2B sales role preferred.
  • High confidence and ability to quickly build trust within the first call, with strong soft skills to drive impact on the spot.
  • Exceptional listening skills combined with the ability to synthesize information.
  • Good time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
  • High attention to details and follow-through.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Salesforce experience preferred but not essential.
  • Constantly strives to improve, proactively seeking coaching and guidance from peers and managers.
  • Highly collaborative and highly organized individual.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
