Job Title: Outside Sales Representative
JOB SUMMARY:
An Outside Sales Representative is responsible for actively prospecting, acquiring, and maintaining relationships with clients or customers to sell a company’s products or services. They work in the field, meeting clients in person, and may be required to travel extensively to meet sales targets.
PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE:
Stay up to date on product or service offerings, industry trends, and competitors’ products to effectively communicate their advantages to clients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven track record of successful sales experience, preferably in a similar outside sales role.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Results-oriented and self-motivated with a focus on achieving sales targets.
- Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- C-store, vape and tobacco knowledge is preferred.
- Background in B2B sales is preferred.
