PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Owner’s Engineer (OE) Civils Supervisor plays a crucial role within the middle management team, overseeing project delivery through supervision. This includes monitoring and evaluating project activities on-site on behalf of the Client, ensuring adherence to the defined scope of work. The OE Civils Supervisor actively participates in site meetings, conduct inspections of civil works and buildings, and manages quality processes on site. This role combines technical expertise with excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills. The Civils Supervisor is based on-site and may work rotating shifts aligned with project milestones.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The focus of the role will be:

• Inspect installations for compliance to specifications, standards, and designs.
• Contribute to progress reports on quality, time, budget.
• Maintain quality control systems.
• Verify payment milestones.
• Review, verify, comment on reports, drawings, etc.
• Coordination

Candidate specification:

The following specifications apply:

• Civil Engineering qualification.
• 8+ years of experience in construction with at least 2 years on renewable energy projects.
• Experience in an Owners Engineer role will be advantageous.
• Good knowledge of local and international standards, construction processes, best practice, and legislation (Environmental and Health and Safety).
• Willing to travel and work away from home.
• Code B driver’s license.
