Description:

SUMMARY

  • To manage the P&O function within a complex organization (non-strategic TechOps site, Global Function or similar) or multi-country organization. To be responsible for implementing a broad range of P&O activities for the supported customer group.Typically leads the P&O function in a small revenue organization with > 100 employees or experienced senior P&O BP responsible for a complex client group within a global unit / region/ very large country

Responsibilities:

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with the Country Business Unit Head and country leadership team in the development and implementation of the Business plan, highlighting potential HR related business opportunities / weaknesses. Translate the Business plans into HR strategic and operational plans for the country; monitor compliance and initiate corrective measures in case of deviations. Be active key member of local leadership team and proactively establish strong relationship with client group to understand their needs and requirements and challenges
  • Ensure rewards packages are crafted to attract and retain key talent necessary to achieve the Business goals
  • Ensure adherence to relevant labour and employment law and, when necessary, manage labour relations, including relations with external labour organizations
  • Define and perform an Industrial relation strategy with local work council and trade unions aligned with business plan
  • Drive cultural change and foster diversity and inclusion within the organization
  • Implement workforce planning in collaboration
  • Lead in-country transformation
  • Advise and negotiate with local works council / unions,

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Overall relevant HR experience and strong functional competence acquired in HR Generalist roles
  • Graduate degree or equivalent experience in business or management; HR professional specialization ideal
  • Good experience in changing business environments
  • Line management experience
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization
  • High sense of urgency
  • Local Language & English verbally and in writing

Nice to have:

  • MBA and/or scientific degrees preferred
  • Experience with multi-cultural teams
  • Good understanding of the Healthcare industry desirable
