Workday Specialist

In this role you will focus on the following areas:

  • Partnership to the P& O community (mainly P&O partners, P&O Operations and P&O strategic teams which represents:
  • Understanding of the business needs, gathering requirements and translating them into solutions, technical requirements, functionalities and their configuration while considering the change impacts and eliminating risks and inconsistencies
  • Designing and maintaining the system, including its business processes and master data, proposing improvements in process automation and digitalization while leveraging Workday
  • Suggesting and designing solutions, progressing on the assigned projects delivery, addressing the change requests and support requirements from the P&O community
  • Leading change management activities to ensure great user experience.
  • Effective cooperation with internal customers (P&O, IT, employees, managers)
  • Training, knowledge transfer and guides/tutorials preparation and execution
  • Promotion of employee/managers self-service and use of reports/dashboards
  • Ensuring smooth integration between Workday and downstream systems
  • Support of strong data integrity, reporting & security functionalities
  • High awareness of current setup, constant analysis and development of advanced security and compliance
  • Ensuring data and modules integrity, solving issues
  • Design and configuration of reports/dashboards based on business needs
  • Compliance with internal and statutory policies and legislations

You will work on many exciting projects and tasks, among them:

  • Design and maintain system configuration
  • Assess, design, test, validate and implement Business Process changes
  • Accurately collect and analyze information from internal clients in order to understand and assess their needs and propose how Workday can address them
  • Proactively provide input to the change management strategy that will ensure effective and efficient communications of Workday functionalities and enhancements
  • Collaborate within the Workday team and the overall P&O function to ensure efficient utilization and smooth maintenance of Workday as the core P&O system as well as to optimize use of internal and external resources in Workday development and support.
  • Provide support to existing custom reports in Workday, participate in report reviews, including understanding and ensuring security and data privacy standards
  • Analyze, design and build new custom reports using standard Workday reporting functionalities
  • Other projects and duties may be required in line with the business needs

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Workday expertise (Workday Pro certification) and experience in at least some of the key Workday functional areas: HCM, Compensation / Advanced Compensation, Onboarding, Recruitment, Talent, Performance Absence, Time-Tracking, Security, EIB loads and Reporting
  • Analytical skills and strong attention to detail, while considering consequences and impacts
  • Problem solving, ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects
  • Keeping abreast of the latest developments and innovations in Workday/HRIS area
  • Hard skill / Soft skill / Attitude
