We are currently recruiting for an Packages & Liability Senior Underwriter to join our established and experienced team here at RSA on a hybrid basis 2/3 days a week in the office.
Your role
As our Packages and Liabilities Senior Underwriter, you will work with brokers, identifying, discussing, negotiating, and seeking to retain existing business opportunities and develop effective underwriting strategies.
You will hold a senior underwriting license, which you will maintain, and you will be responsible for coaching others and acting as a referral point.
You will be experienced in your particular class of business and ensure portfolio strategies are delivered and understood by the team. You will ensure delivery of the financial target for your product area. You will meet the governance and compliance standards within your area of knowledge.
About you
You will hold an insurance license with commensurate experience.
You will embed an underwriting strategy for the team, understanding our marketplace and key competitors with the ability to trade in all market conditions while having effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders across Commercial Lines.

In addition, you will enable the delivery of a great and consistent customer experience, as evidenced through effective resolution and coaching conversations.
