We’re a Calgary-based, owner-operated coffee company with nine cafés plus our roasterie and HQ at the Simmons building in Calgary’s historic East Village. Sebastian and Phil founded the company in 2007 because they believed that the standard of coffee was too low and that the bar needed to be raised. This is still our core purpose today and our never-ending quest!
Position: Packaging Associate
Location: Phil & Sebastian Coffee Roasters, Simmons Building, Calgary
Start Date: March 25th, 2024

QUALIFICATIONS

• Positive attitude
• Able to work efficiently and master repetitive tasks
• Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Physically capable of performing repetitive motions and occasional moderate lifting
• Comfortable working in a busy production environment which can be loud and warm

• Package roasted coffee using weigh-and-fill coffee bagging machine
• Seal bags using sealer machine
• Apply labels to bags using label applicator machine
• Organize and clean the production space
• Monday-Thursday, Start 8:30am, finish between 4:30pm and 5:00pm depending on production volumes (approximately 30-32 hours per week).
