Description:

We are seeking a dependable and proactive individual to join our dynamic team as a Full-Time Production Worker in our Extrusion Packaging Department at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. WHAT WE DO:

We extrude top-quality aluminum architectural products in a variety of solid colours and wood grain powder-coated finishes. Longboard provides the design and construction community with inspiring architectural products for thoughtful spaces.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to work full-time Monday to Friday 40 hrs/week (8hr days, shift time: 6 am-2:30 pm)
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation.
  • Must be able to lift/push/pull/carry up to 35 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • English language comprehension.
  • Production experience is an asset.
  • Production line machine operation experience is a plus.
    We are open to individuals with previous transferable skills such as: production line, general labour, packaging, and warehouse associate.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn about our industry-leading automated equipment systems.
  • Work with a team to ensure quality and to meet production goals.
  • Operate machinery in a production line.
  • Report to a supervisor and manager.
