The Packaging Department is imbedded within the Quality and Compliance team driving Dunelm’s sustainability packaging strategy which compliments legislation and operational efficiencies across the supply chain.
You will play a key role in supporting our Packaging Strategy ensuring we are driving sustainability.
Working with the Technical Packaging Manager, product teams and suppliers you will help make a difference across our multi – channel business.
This role will be critical in supporting the delivery of accurate sustainability data reporting and working on projects that will improve operational efficiency and mitigate costs across our supply chain.
This role is a hybrid opportunity (Office location Leicester Syston).

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse, track, and report internal and external sustainable packaging data.
  • Improve accuracy of sustainability information and reporting across the supply base and all product categories
  • Consolidating data across teams and suppliers to track and report progress against our sustainability goals. Bringing data to life through development of charts, visuals, and dashboards.
  • Co-ordinate and manage the delivery of packaging development projects across multiple departments.
  • Support and solve daily packaging queries, liaising regularly with commercial teams, product, and packaging suppliers to ensure issues are resolved on time.
  • Conduct regular compliance spot checks.
  • Carry out benchmarking and identify opportunities for continuous improvements.
