Packers Wanted

We are currently looking for Packers reporting to our Despatch Supervisor at our Harewood Bakery.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Daily operation of machinery and equipment
• Loading and unloading crates of bakery product from trucks or packing machine
• Accurately stacking and packing products for our different distribution routes
• Daily cleaning and general housekeeping of your work area
• Actively participating in team meetings
• Escalating any product issues or delivery issues to your Team Leaders and/or Supervisor.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Champion safety and food quality
• Demonstrate your great communication skills (both written and oral)
• Be physically fit with the ability to lift bread crates
• Demonstrate strong work ethic
• Ability to direct clear work instructions and coach others
• Have prior experience in a food handling role
• Be passionate about food
• Be a motivated team player
• Be willing to learn and apply new skills
