Paediatric Audiologist

The main purpose of this role is to provide routine audiological care for children and young people; specifically, this involves the assessment and management of hearing impairment of patients over five years of age. The post holder will also assist in specialist clinics for children under five, special education needs, tinnitus, and newborn hearing diagnostics. Perform a range of routine audiological procedures including otoscopy, pure tone audiometry (including assisting Visual Reinforcement Audiometry), tympanometry, probe microphone measurements, and aural rehabilitation. Maintains records in relation to audiological activities carried out.
Supervises and/or trains less experienced staff in own audiology
