To be successful, Vocational training in paediatric nephrology is required and must be at least equivalent to nephrology training as prescribed by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. The successful applicant must be eligible for specialist registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. The applicant must have significant clinical experience in the provision of all modalities of renal replacement therapy and all aspects of renal transplantation. The successful applicant will have regular contact with children and young persons under the age of 16 and will be subject to the requirements of the Children’s Act 2014.
The salary package is as per the New Zealand Te Whatu Ora Senior Medical and Dental Officers Collective Agreement and will be commensurate with the degree of clinical experience and post-graduate qualifications of the applicant.
